GEN AUDU SANNI YUSUF (RTD) (Chairman) Major General Sanni Yusuf Audu (Rtd.) attended the Nigeria Military School, Zaria from 1972-1976 he went to Nigerian Defense Academy between the year 1977-1979, part of his Military qualification includes DIP Civil Affairs, DIP Psyops, Psc(+), FWC and also he attended the University of Ibadan between September 2007 and March 2008 where he obtained Masters in Strategic Studies. He attended several courses including NAIC YOC, jungle Warfare/CBT survival, RSO, ta International Officers Course, Basic French course, Infantry YOC, JDS, CSC (Snr. Div.0 and seminar on Public Policy Analysis, Seminar on National; Security/Counter Terrorism. etc. Major General Audu (Rtd.) served in various capacity including Col manpower Planning, Director, Manpower Planning (DOAA), Director Personnel Services (DOAA), Comdt NAIS, Director of Operations, Director Military Intelligence and Chief of Defense Intelligence before he pulled out of service in February 2014. In the year 2016, Major General Audu Sanni was appointed the Chairman of SMADAC Securities Limited, a position he holds till date. |
YAKUBU ADAMS (Managing Director) Yakubu- Concern Adams is a graduate of Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Ogun state. A Chartered Stockbroker and Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange for over twenty (20) years. An alumni of Lagos Business School, he has attended several financial and management courses some of which include Marketing Financial Services - LBS, Lagos, International Capital Market EUROMONEY, Lagos and Owner Manager Programme of Lagos Business School. Mr. Yakubu Concern Adams started his working career as a pioneer staff of OMF Securities and Finance Limited (subsidiary of Oasis Group) in 1994, before joining Counters Trust Securities Limited (a subsidiary of First Securities Discount House Limited (FSDH)) in March 1999. He left Counters Trust Securities Limited in November 2003 as Head Dealing Operations and Stockbroking to set up SMADAC Securities Limited. He has extensive experience in stock broking operations, financial matters and has been engaged in a lot of notable transactions. He is an Entrepreneurial par Excellent with innovative and strategic business acumen. Yakubu has foresight into the future of work and as a Change Champion he navigates the Company. |
CAPTAIN YAKUBU IBRAHIM KAULA (Director) Capt. Yakubu started his earlier career in banking as a Senior Clerk with First Bank Nigeria Plc. (1980- 1982), Captain Yakubu attended the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaira in the year 1982-1985, Embrear Customer Facility (Flight Training) San Jose Dos Campos, Brazil (1986) Aero Contractors Ground School, Ikeja in 1987, American Flyers, Hobby Airport, Houston, Texas, USA. (1991) Dornie Aviation, Nigeria AIER (DANA) Kaduna in 1998, European Aviation Bournemouth Airport, UK (1998) British Airways Fight Training (BAFT) CRANE Bank Heathrow Airport, London UK (1998). He moved to Sky Power Express Airways as First Officer in 1986 – 1987, he then joined Aero Contractors Company of Nigeria Limited, Ikeja in 1987 – 1993 as First Officer, Executive Airline Services Limited Contractors Co (Nig.) Limited, Ikeja from July 2001 to date. |
RICHARD OGUNMODEDE (Director) Richard is a 1992 graduate of Accounting with a first class Honors from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile ife, Nigeria. He proceeded to Harvard Business School, INSEAD and Lagos Business School studying through various Management and corporate performance programs. Richard started his career with Citibank as an Operations Assistant in 1993-1995 then as an Assistant Banking Officer 1995-1997. In his quest for more, he moved to MBC International Bank (now First Bank of Nigeria) in 1997 as a Senior Banking Officer, Head, Automation Support until 1998 when he proceeded to First Atlantic Bank (now First City Monument Bank) as a Deputy Manager, Head, Information Technology. In 1999 he moved to the Fountain Trust bank (now Heritage Bank) as Head, Financial Control & Strategic Planning till 2003 when he progressed to Accenture Nigeria an Experienced Manager, Strategy & Business Architecture. He moved as senior Manager, Head New Business Development, First Bank of Nigeria (2003- 2005) where he moved steadily to the position of Deputy General Manger (in 2010-2013) before he started in 2014 his own business (SPERE Limited) where he serves currently works as a Director. While at First Bank, he won various awards and recognition for innovation and outstanding performance. |
MODELEOLA JEGEDE (Director) She is a 1990 graduate of Economics with Second class Upper from the University of Lagos. She started her career with Ernst and Young as Senior Audit Analyst from 1991 to 1995 then progressed to Arthur Andersen as Senior Tax Analyst from January 1996 to July 1997. She joined Total E & P Nigeria Limited as Tax officer in 1997-2006. she was then promoted to a position of a Tax Manager in July 2006, In September 2012 she rose to the position of a General Manager, a position she holds till date. Modeleola is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She adds valuable contributions to the Board as it drives the Company to sustainability and growth. |
SIMON ATTAI OGBE-OGBOYI (Director) Simon is a banking and investment specialist with over twenty-five (25) years of cognate experience in the Nigerian financial sector. He holds a BSc. in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an MBA from Delta State University. After a stint as Lecturer with College of Education Ankpa, he commenced his financial sector career as Financial Analyst with Securities and Exchange Commission. Thereafter, he moved to Devcom Merchant Bank where he rose to the position of Senior Manager, Treasury. He joined the then Afribank Nigeria Plc. as Principal Manager Treasury and Investment and rose to the position of Group Treasurer, managing over ten subsidiaries of the bank. Following the takeover of the bank, he served as Regional Director of Mainstreet bank for a couple of years. He gained further experience working with Caverton Helicopters as Financial Controller. He is currently Principal Consultant at Royusuf and Co. (Chartered Accountants). Mr Ogbe-Ogboyi has garnered experience and delivered competently at strategic levels in areas such as; financial analysis, balance sheet management, supervision and trading of financial products, business development, corporate finance, treasury and investment management, funds management, as well as organizational and people management . He has equally been exposed to and built capacity and integrity to manage traded financial products in the global financial market. These include; managing structured funds and handling asset trading and repurchase agreements of over N200 Billion, wealth management of about N30 Billion, successfully negotiating deals on investment/sweeping contracts and foreign exchange swaps with counterparties in international banks. He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), Associate Member Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (ACPIN) and Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB). He attended several professional courses/ seminars in Africa and Europe on Aviation Finance, Derivatives and Global Markets, Foreign Exchange and Forwards Simulation and Fixed Income Securities and Investment. He brings to any job high quality skills, integrity and capacity to deliver competently. |
OYEWOLE OLUFEMI KOLAPO (Director) Olufemi Oluwole a graduate of Business Administration (Second Class Upper) from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos. He started his career with UNILEVER Plc. as a Management trainee in 1985 and he had an exciting career in highly competitive fast moving goods (FCMG) Industry before moving to Airtel Nigeria Plc. in 2008. Having served in different positions in the Telecommunications Company, (Airtel), Olufemi rose to the position of Director, Customer Experience. Olufemi is a Fellow, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN) among other Professional certifications. He set up a food based Family Business (Oska Royal Int’l Nigeria Limited). Olufemi been in the communication industry has broadened his horizon in the communication field. He is bringing to the board his diverse experience as a great developer of Human capital, coach and key contributor to entrepreneurial development in Nigeria. |
ABUBAKAR MAIBE(Executive Director Financial Services) Mr. Abubakar Maibe is a graduate of Geography from the University of Maiduguri Nigeria (1989). He started his career with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in 1991 as an Assistant superintendent of Narcotics. In his quest to diversify his interest to the private sector of the economy, he joined the First Securities Discount House Limited (FSDH LTD) in 1995 where he managed a well-motivated and purpose driven workforce. He rose to head the overall operations of the Group covering Money market, Capital market and Asset Management. He has over twenty (20) years’ experience in Operations, Systems Design and implementation. He is an Alumni of Lagos Business School and member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IOD). Over the years, Abubakar has attended various Financial and Management training programmes. He joined the Management team of SMADAC Securities Limited in the year 2008 as an Executive Director, Financial Services where he oversees the activities of the Account Units, Investment Unit, Operations/IT Unit and the Broker. As a member of the board Abubakar presents state of affairs to the board and bring home the current realties for board strategic intervention. |
IFEOMA P. ADENIYI (Executive Director / Chief Compliance Officer) Mrs. Ifeoma P. Adeniyi joined the services of SMADAC Securities Limited on November 10, 2008 as the 2nd vice president /HR Admin with over twenty ( 20) years cognate experience in HR Management practice as part of the Company’s strategic repositioning. A graduate of Philosophy from the University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos (1987), Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy(1992) and Bachelor of Law Degree (2002) from the same University. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. She started her career as an Admin/Personnel Manager with Acton Techniques Limited in 1989 and left to join Rich- Rotoye Consultants Limited as the Head of HR Consultancy (1996- 2001). Prior to joining the services of SMADAC Securities Limited, Ifeoma was a Senior Manager, Membership Services, Head, HR/Admin., Head, Learning and Development of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) . She participated in the reorganization in the Institute’s Secretariat in the year 2007/2008. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Association of Corporate Governance Professional of Nigeria (ACGPN), Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Training & Development (NITAD) and member of Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) USA. As the chief compliance officer, she ensures corporate governance is maintained at the highest level within the organization. Ifeoma is responsible for strict compliance to regulatory requirements both the Board & Management. |
